Position: Therapeutic Recreation Assistant
Reports to: Director of Clinical Services
Summary: The Therapeutic Recreation Assistant will assist the Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator in maintaining daily departmental operations. The Therapeutic Recreation Assistant may also maintain documentation, assess, plan, implement and evaluate for specifically assigned programs on units.

Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in a recreation therapy or similar social service field preferred. Experience in a behavioral health care setting and direct experiences working with at risk youth preferred. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of child/adolescent growth and developmental stages. Ability to work efficiently and independently with treatment team members and outside liaisons.
