About Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health
Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center, located in Springfield, Illinois, is dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We are the only facility of our kind in Central Illinois.
We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Charity Care
Lincoln Prairie can provide financial assistance to patients in need. We will extend medically necessary services at no cost or at a reduced amount to an individual who is eligible by meeting certain financial criteria. Charity Care decisions are based on the family’s “gross income,” which means gross earnings reportable to the federal government. Your family’s gross income cannot exceed six times the Federal Poverty Level. The Federal Poverty Level varies based on family size and is updated annually. Your family may also be eligible if you can you show extenuating financial circumstances. Please review and complete this form.
